Maths – Divisibility Rules – Dividing By 2, 4 or 8

A number is divisible by 2 if the last digit is divisible by 2 (an even number). For example 578 is divisible by 2 because the last digit is 8 and 8 divided by 2=4.

A number is divisible by 4 if the last two digits are a multiple of 4. For example 312 is divisible by 4 because the last two digits are 12 and 12 divided by 4=3. You can check this by halving the number twice  to see if you get a whole number answer. For example, half of 248 is 124: half of 124 is 62 and half of 62 is 31

Maths (Rotational Symmetry)

For maths we have been learning about Rotational Symmetry. This is what I did

Maths (tessellation). Which shapes tessellate?

For maths we had to do tessellation to find out which shapes tessellate. Fit in to itself without gaps, this is what I did
